Jennifer Gonik Chester

Jennifer Gonik Chester is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and a board-certified allergist/immunologist in the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care Medicine, with clinical affiliations at both NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia and NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell. She earned her MD at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, completed internal medicine residency at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell, and completed clinical fellowship training in allergy and immunology at Columbia. Her interests are drug and chemotherapy allergy and immune dysregulation disorders and secondary immunodeficiency; her recent first-author work (2024) covers PLCG2 variants in cherubism and the clinical phenotype of autosomal recessive chronic granulomatous disease, and earlier work from her Einstein years concerned delirium screening and vital signs in older patients.
