As Imaging Director of the Dallas Heart Study, he has mentored researchers applying CT and imaging informatics to clinical investigation.

Peshock earned his medical degree at UT Southwestern and completed internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship training through Parkland. He is a primary reader of cardiac MRI and CT angiography studies for UT Southwestern and Parkland.

Ronald Peshock works in cardiovascular imaging and biomedical imaging informatics, including clinical cardiac MRI and CT angiography. His research develops and applies MRI methods to cardiovascular disease, myocardial injury, ischemia, physiology, blood flow, and exercise-related fluid shifts.
