Mohammed Ruzieh is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine’s Division of Cardiology and a cardiologist at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. His clinical interests include syncope, blood pressure control, arrhythmias, and sports cardiology. He completed his MD at An-Najah National University in 2012, internal medicine residency at the University of Toledo in 2017, and cardiovascular disease fellowship at Penn State in 2020, serving as Chief Cardiology Fellow during the 2019–2020 academic year. His work emphasizes high-value healthcare and the use of large healthcare databases to evaluate outcomes across healthcare systems. He teaches and mentors medical students, residents, and fellows, serves as an editor and journal reviewer, and has established a Syncope and Dizziness Program at the University of Florida while developing one at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
