Sandeep Jani is a MedStar Health cardiologist and faculty leader in heart failure, serving as Scientific Lead for Heart Failure and as medical director of the Advanced Heart Failure and Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy programs in the Baltimore region. He directs the HCM clinic at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital and sees patients there and at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. His clinical interests include advanced heart failure, transplant cardiology, hypertrophic, ischemic and non-ischemic cardiomyopathies, amyloidosis, infiltrative heart disease, and genetic cardiomyopathies. He completed internal medicine residency at Emory University in 2008-2011, followed by cardiovascular disease and advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology fellowships at MedStar Georgetown University in 2012-2016. He also earned an MPH in Health Management and Policy from the University of Michigan in 2002-2004.
