Monique Anderson Starks is a Duke cardiologist, associate professor of medicine, and cardiac-arrest researcher focused on making lifesaving treatment reach patients faster. She earned her M.D. from Harvard Medical School in 2006, completed internal medicine residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from 2006 to 2009, and trained in cardiology at Duke University Medical Center from 2009 to 2013.
