Andrew Andreae is a Duke-trained cardiologist whose work centers on electrophysiology, medical devices, and technology-enabled cardiovascular care. He studied biomedical engineering at the University of Virginia, later worked as a technology consultant for Deloitte, and contributed to a blood-sampling medical device startup that was eventually sold to BD. He earned his medical degree at Virginia Commonwealth University and completed residency at Duke University Hospital. His clinical research during medical school and residency examined LVADs, Total Artificial Hearts, and ICDs. He began Duke’s Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship in 2022 and is listed as a Fellow in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
