Sarah Goldstein is a cardiovascular medicine faculty leader whose work centers on cardio-obstetrics and adult congenital heart disease. She is an assistant professor of medicine in cardiovascular medicine at Yale and medical director for Cardiovascular Medicine of Yale’s Cardiovascular Disease and Pregnancy Program. She also participates in Yale New Haven Hospital’s multidisciplinary Maternal Cardiac Program. Goldstein graduated from the University of Virginia, attended medical school at the University of North Carolina, and completed internal medicine residency and cardiovascular training at Duke, including advanced subspecialty training in cardio-obstetrics and adult congenital heart disease. At Duke, she developed a cardio-obstetrics training pathway and established a multidisciplinary clinic. She has presented publicly on maternal congenital heart disease and pregnancy.
