Mayo is such a unique place, especially the family medicine residency. It is the perfect combination of rural and academic medicine, something I didn’t find anywhere else in the United States. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to learn as much as I can these next three years.Ideal practice: Ideally I’ll be practicing in a rural area with a focus on outpatient medicine and legislative and political advocacy. Hopefully you’ll see me one day at the MAFP or even AAFP!
