Jordan Pomeroy is a physician-scientist whose work spans cardiology practice, basic science research, medical education, and cardiovascular drug-safety regulation. During 2020-2021, he was a cardiology fellow in Duke’s Department of Medicine, where his clinical responsibilities included Cardiac ICU leadership, diagnostic catheterization, electrophysiology and transplant consultations, advanced cardiac imaging, and community cardiology. He described teaching nurses, PAs, medical students, and residents while pursuing a basic science research career. Pomeroy holds MD and PhD degrees. In a March 6, 2026 presentation, he was identified with the FDA’s Division of Cardiology and Nephrology and presented on new approach methodologies for cardiovascular drug products.
