Christos Kyriakopoulos is a cardiovascular physician whose research focuses on myocardial recovery, mechanical circulatory support, cardiogenic shock, and heart failure. He is currently listed by Duke Department of Medicine as a Fellow and House Staff member in the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship. His recent publications examine individualized prediction of recovery during LVAD support, kidney function and recovery after LVAD support, native-heart survival in myocardial infarction-related cardiogenic shock, myocardial metabolism, sphingolipids, and potential anti-fibrotic therapies.
