Esther E. Vorovich is a Northwestern advanced heart failure and transplant cardiologist whose leadership spans fellowship education, cardiogenic shock, mechanical circulatory support, and heart-failure scholarship. She is an Associate Professor of Medicine (Cardiology) at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and Associate Program Director of its Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship. Her clinical interests include cardiomyopathy, heart failure, heart transplantation, and mechanical circulatory assistance. After earning her MD from the University of Pennsylvania in 2007, she completed internal medicine training and cardiovascular disease fellowship there, earning an MSCE in 2015. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology. Since 2020, she has served as an Associate Editor of Circulation: Heart Failure and, since 2022, on the ISHLT Cardiogenic Shock Consensus Task Force.
