Degree: M.D.
Luis Ng Sueng, M.D. Why did you choose Mayo Clinic for fellowship training? Exceptional training and very broad clinical exposure. You get to work with intensivists with different backgrounds, including pulmonary, anesthesia, emergency medicine, nephrology and cardiologists. This variety makes the experience very robust, as you get to learn from experts in their field and how they think when they are working as intensivists. The fellowship rotations also include multiple subspecialty ICUs, including MICU, SICU, CICU, Neuro ICU, CV SICU, and Onc/Transplant ICU, which provides a very well-rounded experience when it comes to ICU clinical exposure.
