Daniel Friedman is a Duke University cardiologist and electrophysiology researcher focused on improving complex ablation, pacing, heart-failure care, and non-pharmacologic atrial-fibrillation treatment. He is currently an Associate Professor of Medicine at Duke. His training includes an M.D. from Cornell University (2010), internal medicine residency at Massachusetts General Hospital (2011-2013), and cardiovascular disease (2013-2017) and clinical cardiac electrophysiology (2017-2019) fellowships at Duke. He was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Yale from 2019 to 2021 and was identified as a Duke cardiology fellow in a 2015 MedicalResearch.com interview. His professional activities have included editorial, reviewing, trial-monitoring, and risk-model work, alongside talks on CRT, heart failure, and atrial-fibrillation ablation.
