Rahul Loungani is a cardiologist whose documented work connects heart-failure care, cardiac amyloidosis, cardiovascular critical care, and digital care delivery. He earned his MD from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2014, completed internal medicine residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital from 2014 to 2017, and pursued cardiology and clinical research fellowships at Duke from 2017 to 2020. As a DCRI fellow, he led work on Duke’s cardiovascular COVID-19 care pathways under Manesh Patel’s mentorship.
