Daniel C. Lee is a Northwestern University professor whose work connects cardiology, radiology, and cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging. His clinical interests include coronary artery disease, ischemic and structural heart disease, cardiac stress testing, nuclear cardiology, and cardiac MRI. His research focuses on cardiac MRI across ischemic and valvular heart disease, ischemia evaluation, heart failure, arrhythmias, drug and device development, and prevention. He earned an MD from Northwestern in 1999 and an MS in 2006, completing internal medicine residency and cardiovascular disease and CMR training at McGaw Medical Center. His leadership includes roles with the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance, the American College of Radiology, the NIH, and the DETERMINE Trial.
