Biography Jonathan D. Mosley, M.D., Ph.D., is a clinically trained physician scientist and associate professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He has a Master’s in Science in Chronic Disease Epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and completed an M.D./Ph.D. program at Case Western Reserve University, where his thesis work focused on molecular and mouse models of mammary gland tumorigenesis. Dr. Mosley completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. His clinical focus is on the diagnosis and treatment of resistant hypertension. He is a Fellow of the American Heart Association and a member of the American Society of Human Genetics. Dr. Mosley’s research focus is on the translation of complex genetics to clinical medicine with the goal of improving health care delivery, reducing unnecessary health care utilization, and improving risk stratification.
