Biography Daniel Cheeran, M.D., M.S.C.S, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center, and a member of the Division of Cardiology. A specialist in advanced heart failure and transplant, he practices at Clements University Hospital and the Dallas VA Medical Center. Dr. Cheeran holds a bachelor’s degree in biology and anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He received his medical degree from SUNY Stonybrook School of Medicine and completed internal medicine residency training at UT Southwestern, where he also completed advanced training through fellowships in cardiovascular medicine and advanced heart failure and transplant. He also earned a master’s in clinical research methodology at UT Southwestern.
