Vanessa Blumer is a cardiologist whose public work includes advanced heart-failure and critical-care cardiology training, education, mentorship, and professional development. During her 2021–2022 fellowship, she served on the American College of Cardiology’s 70th Annual Scientific Session Program Committee. She later served as the ACC North Carolina Chapter’s FIT liaison and helped organize educational programs and virtual programming for fellows in training. She co-authored a 2021 publication on an advanced heart-failure and transplant cardiology training pathway into critical-care cardiology. A fellowship alumni listing placed her at Inova Heart and Vascular Institute in Fairfax, Virginia.
