Hilary Yegen Robbins

Hilary Yegen Robbins is an Assistant Professor of Medicine (in Pediatrics) at Columbia and a transplant pulmonologist who joined the Lung Transplant Program faculty in 2010. She earned her BA cum laude from Yale (1999) and her MD from Columbia's College of Physicians and Surgeons, then completed internal medicine residency and PCCM fellowship at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia, with a fourth fellowship year supported by a Stony Wold-Herbert Fund grant (2009-2010). She is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine and critical care and belongs to the ATS, CHEST and ISHLT. Publishing first as Yegen, she was first author of the 2007 CHEST study of risk factors for venous thromboembolism after lung transplantation and of a Clinics in Chest Medicine review of post-transplant malignancies with Selim Arcasoy, and she is a steady co-author on the program's outcomes research, including the multicenter frailty and body-composition studies, the Science Immunology tissue-resident memory T cell paper, donor surfactant protein D polymorphism work and the 2026 lung retransplantation analysis.
