Melissa Anne Daubert is a Duke cardiologist and faculty leader whose work connects women’s cardiovascular health, Cardio-OB, multimodality imaging, and prevention. She is an Associate Professor of Medicine, an Associate Professor in Radiology, and a member of the Duke Clinical Research Institute. She directs Duke’s Women’s Cardiovascular Health program and the Multimodality Imaging Core Laboratory at the Duke Clinical Research Institute. Her research includes cardiovascular risks after hypertensive pregnancy complications, coronary artery calcium scoring to inform preventive statin therapy, and cardiovascular imaging. Daubert earned her M.D. from Yeshiva University’s Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2005, completed an internal medicine residency at Columbia University from 2005 to 2008, and completed cardiovascular medicine fellowship training at Stony Brook University from 2008 to 2011.
