Cary Cecile Ward is a Duke University Professor of Medicine and a faculty-development leader whose work connects cardiology, pregnancy care, and medical education. She earned an M.D. from the University of Virginia in 1999, completed medical residency at the University of Texas, Dallas, from 1999 to 2002, and was a Duke cardiology fellow from 2002 to 2007.
