Mark Kittipibul, MD, is a cardiology trainee and heart-failure researcher whose work connects advanced heart-failure care with clinical trials, HFpEF physiology, and patient-centered outcomes. Born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, he attended Chulalongkorn University for university and medical school, then completed residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami. Before residency, he undertook a one-year Cleveland Clinic research fellowship focused primarily on LVADs. He began Duke’s Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship in 2021 and was identified as a Duke cardiology and research fellow in 2024. His stated interests include cardiopulmonary exercise testing and invasive exercise hemodynamics in HFpEF, with plans for an academic clinical-research career.
