Biographical context: I was born in Lagos, Nigeria.
I was born in Lagos, Nigeria.
Degree: M.D.
Ebuka Ibuoka, M.D. Hometown: I was born in Lagos, Nigeria. Spent half of my life so far in Lagos and the second half in the U.S and Caribbean islands.Medical school: All Saints University, Dominica and Chicago, IllinoiwFavorite movie: Dr. Who Christmas specialsInterests: I love music, sports like soccer, tennis and hiking, swimming, and exploring different places around the world. Why Mayo? I chose Mayo because from my interactions early on I could clearly see the patient first values in action. I also loved the care for the community in and around Rochester. That, coupled with a unique mix of rural, outpatient medicine, and academic inpatient medicine is extremely valuable to a well-rounded medical education and ultimately for the patients we serve. It is truly an honor to be here.Ideal practice: My ideal practice would be a good balance of full spectrum family practice with a large focus on obstetrics, outpatient pediatric care, and a dazzling of sports medicine mixed in.
