Christopher Wrobel is an Assistant Professor at UT Southwestern whose clinical focus is advanced heart failure, cardiac transplantation, and durable and temporary mechanical circulatory support. He earned a BS in chemistry from Duke in 2009, taught high school chemistry in New Orleans for two years, and completed medical education at Indiana University School of Medicine from 2011 to 2015. He then completed internal medicine residency at UT Southwestern from 2015 to 2018, worked there as a hospitalist for one year, and pursued cardiology and advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology fellowships at Duke from 2019 to 2023. Wrobel served as Duke’s Chief Cardiology Fellow in 2022-2023 and joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2023.
