Ravi B. Patel is an Associate Professor of Medicine in Cardiology and Preventive Medicine (Epidemiology) at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. His research focuses on identifying mechanisms and therapeutic targets for heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF), and he leads active clinical trials recruiting patients. Patel earned his MD from Northwestern in 2012 and completed Internal Medicine residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, followed by cardiovascular disease and preventive medicine fellowships at Northwestern. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Adult Comprehensive Echocardiography.
