Glenn Meininger is a cardiac electrophysiologist and MedStar Health leader focused on heart-rhythm disorders and arrhythmia care. He serves as Scientific Lead, Electrophysiology, and Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology Services for the Baltimore region. He earned a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Pennsylvania, received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1997, and completed Johns Hopkins training in internal medicine, cardiology, and cardiac electrophysiology through 2005. He practiced in the MedStar system from 2005 and previously led cardiac electrophysiology and served as associate chief of cardiology at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. His work includes arrhythmia-management studies, more than 30 journal articles, and teaching electrocardiography to medical students and residents.
