She also serves as Director of Structural Imaging at UT Southwestern and Parkland Health. Her clinical interests include valvular heart disease and advanced cardiac imaging. Dr. Ayuba holds a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Missouri. She earned her medical degree at A.T. Still University-Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri. She completed internal medicine residency training at William Beaumont University Hospital in Michigan, where she served as Chief Resident and completed fellowship training in cardiovascular disease. She received additional training in advanced cardiac imaging through a fellowship at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
