Brittany Weber is a cardio-immunologist and imaging specialist whose work examines how systemic inflammation and immune dysregulation contribute to cardiovascular disease. She focuses on autoimmune disease, recurrent pericarditis, coronary microvascular disease, atherosclerosis, myocardial injury, heart failure, and immune therapeutics.
Her research combines advanced imaging, biomarkers, molecular biology, mechanistic clinical trials, and population health to study inflammation-related cardiovascular dysfunction and improve risk prediction.
Weber earned medical and immunology doctoral degrees at the University of Pennsylvania and completed internal medicine, cardiology, research, and cardiovascular imaging training at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Before joining UT Southwestern in 2025, she was on the Harvard Medical School faculty and directed the Brigham cardio-rheumatology clinic.
