Alex Gunn is a Duke cardiovascular disease fellow whose path combines clinical cardiology, global-health policy, and environmental-health advocacy. During medical school, Gunn co-developed a student-led tree-planting initiative in Durham addressing climate-related health risks. He has a strong interest in heart failure, particularly cardiac amyloidosis, and has argued that climate change disproportionately harms marginalized communities.
