During my interview day, interacting with the faculty and staff at Mayo felt like interacting with family — tight knit and endlessly compassionate. The culture of support was unmatched compared to other programs and I felt as if I would be set up to become the best physician possible. In addition, I was eager to return home to my family, friends, and support system in Minnesota, and Rochester was the perfect place to land. Ideal practice: I hope to be practicing full-spectrum family medicine in an urban/suburban outpatient clinic post-residency. I enjoy preventative and collaborative medicine with a wide variety of patient populations!
