Carlo on Discord

Who runs Carlo

Carlo is the assistant of Carlo Med, a service of Carlo Finance, Inc. These terms cover using Carlo in Discord: mentioning it in a server, its slash commands, the threads it opens and direct messages. By using Carlo there you agree to them. Discord's own terms and each server's rules apply as well.

What is free and what is paid

• In a server, Carlo answers anyone for free, up to 100 questions a day per person. Its answers there are visible to everyone who can see that channel.
• Direct messages with Carlo, and anything about your own application, need a Carlo Med account with a paid plan. The plan's price and terms are shown before you pay.

We may change limits, features or what is free, and may stop offering Carlo in a server or to a person at any time.

Answers can be wrong

Carlo writes its answers with AI from public sources, Carlo Med's data and what you tell it. They can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Estimates, such as where a program might rank you, are estimates. Carlo is not medical, legal or financial advice and does not speak for any program, school, NRMP, ERAS or other organization. Check anything that matters with the program or the source before you rely on it.

Using it well

Please don't:

• post someone else's private information to Carlo or ask it to find it;
• use Carlo to harass anyone, or to break the law or Discord's rules;
• try to get around its limits, copy Carlo Med's data in bulk, or automate questions to it.

You keep what you write. You let us use it to answer you and to run and improve Carlo, as the privacy policy describes.

No warranty

Carlo is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Carlo Finance, Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using it, and its total liability is limited to what you paid Carlo Med in the three months before the claim, if anything.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and using Carlo after a change means you accept it. Questions go to tejas@carlo.med.
